Established in 1998, Boston Neurobehavioral Associates is a leading outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric practice providing comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and adults. We operate across Massachusetts, Florida, Rhode Island, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. Led by Mohammad Munir, MD, our multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, insomnia, OCD, and other behavioral health concerns.

Psychiatrist

All MA Locations

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
  • Completion (or near completion) of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
  • Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Massachusetts
  • Valid DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Interest in clinical research and interventional psychiatry, including TMS, Spravato, or other advanced treatment modalities, is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and initial assessments
  • Provide ongoing medication management and treatment for patients in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with therapists, advanced practice providers, and other members of the clinical team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR and electronic prescribing systems
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with diverse psychiatric needs

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

All MA Locations

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
  • Completion of, or currently completing, a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship from an accredited program
  • Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Massachusetts
  • Valid DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Interest in clinical research or academic collaboration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and initial assessments for children, adolescents, and families
  • Provide ongoing medication management for a broad range of pediatric psychiatric conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families
  • Work closely with therapists, psychologists, and other providers to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR and electronic prescribing systems
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to children, teens, and their families

Neuropsychologist

All MA Locations

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Licensed to practice psychology in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Responsibilities

  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, neuropsychological, and psychological assessments
  • Prepare clear, thorough, and professional psychological assessment reports
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all assessments and treatments
  • Provide evaluations for patients with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, mood disorders, concussion, and dementia
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and treatment planning
  • Deliver patient-centered, culturally sensitive care across diverse populations

Therapist / Counselor

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Massachusetts licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Strong case conceptualization and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Experience providing clinical evaluations and evidence-based psychotherapy across a broad range of mental health conditions

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards
  • Provide psychoeducation and counseling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, referral sources, and collateral contacts
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Bilingual Therapist / Counselor (Spanish)

All MA Locations

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Massachusetts licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required, including the ability to provide therapy in both languages
  • Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills
  • Experience providing clinical evaluations and evidence-based psychotherapy across a broad range of mental health conditions

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy and/or counselling services in Spanish and English
  • Conduct intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments for new clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
  • Provide psychoeducation and counseling to patients and their families
